The RO-TAP® is considered unique – Unlike conventional test sieve shakers, with an electromagnetic drive, the RO-TAP® operates in two dimensions. It rotates in a horizontal circular motion combined with a vertical tapping motions, imitating the circular and tapping movements of the hand sieve. This tapping sieve method is therefore particularly suitable for unusually shaped particles. The RO-TAP® laboratory test sieve shaker allows the particles to stratify and pass through critical openings in the sieve. This saves you time, since you will never have to re-sieve manually again. The precise coordination of the two motion components also significantly improves the separation efficiency and analysis time.
